What does it feel like to be present? To realize that all we perceive as past and future is only a trace of our memory, or a prediction of our mind. When one realizes the present moment, they instantly move beyond what our mind perceives as positive or negative, and come into the now. In the present moment we are fully awake & aware of all that is.
Zweet Sport’s teacher training is designed to bring you to the present through asana and breath. Yes, you will learn how to lead a class, but whether you plan to use your training to teach yoga, or not, what we hope to teach is the acknowledgement of the “NOW,” and of being present within your body.
It is only through this practice of becoming present moment, that we can truly accept the fullness of the yoga. Yes, you will deepen your knowledge of asana, of anatomy, and the history of yoga, but more than anything, we hope that you begin to learn how to notice yourself and your reactions to what comes your way in this ever changing world.
This 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is foundational for learning to teach yoga. This virtual program is registered through internationally recognized Yoga Alliance and meets their credentialing standards for a 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. In order to retain Zweet Sport’s high teaching standards, this program will be limited to a small class of students. Early registration is highly encouraged.
